Long ago, on a cold, dark May Monday, a flickering burst of energy lit a small room to the north. Caught completely in its baleful beam, a young lamb sat precariously at its heart, staring into the depths of the shameful glow. Curtains drawn, hearthrug warm, a Lambie-Nairn virtual globe twirls on black as mankind faces total destruction... in Doctor Who...
'It was on the planet Skaro that my old enemy the Master was finally put on trial...'
You do some amazing CG work. I especially like how you tackled the alternate opening to the TV Movie, utilizing the original Gordon Tipple voice-over.
To this day, McGann's only screen appearance remains a favourite for me. I'm very interested in the idea of re-editing the film, but need some expert help bringing some abandoned ideas to life... based on moments which were planned according to Gary Russell's Regeneration book and that old 1996 DWM Special.
Please take a look at a thread, I've contributed to over at Gallifrey Base...
http://gallifreybase.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2479930#post2479930. I've written a lot for you to plough through and recently, a poorly photoshopped image of how the opening could look and a description of the original Eye of Harmony Doctors sequence. It would probably be impossible for me to attempt such CG modelling or rotoscoping/cutting out of footage from elsewhere. So I want an opinion how possible it is.
If I were to be involved, I can edit audio and video. But certain of my ideas may cause conflict. However I'm keen on sticking to them. The first is downplaying the controversial half-human aspect of the film, by trimming some scenes. Again please read one of my most recent posts, as to my reasoning for that. The second is cropping to widescreen. Something else I'd like to do, having recently played around with the ratio for a music video.... http://www.twitvid.com/FR3HZ. I'd like to elevate this made for TV feature to some larger and I hope you agree, it looks as impressive as anything since 2005 done like this.
Sorry for the long post, but well I think this could be worth the extra effort!

Oh, almost forgot. I've managed to acquire from Mark Humphries, a DVD of footage covering the Tipple voice and various other takes etc. Picture quality is a bit mixed but better than I expected. On first viewing, there isn't much of use (beyond what we already saw in the film and workprint) but I'm still thinking through possibilities.
There's a different piece of music that McCoy's Doctor listens to in the opening scene. I'm guessing they couldn't ever clear Bing Crosby for copyright and went with the Billy Holiday sounding track "In a Dream".
I'd be willing to share footage with you. Maybe you can or know of others able to create photorealistic Daleks in CG for a full blown appearance in the pre-titles. How to convincingly do their voices (they had dialogue in reply to The Master, other than 'exterminate') also remains a problem.

I then added a Chocolate Chip mat and then Riding Hood Reasdfd and finally, one of the darling Imaginisce patterned papers. I think the card is pretty self explanatory so I will give you a shopping list so you know what I used on it!!! I do want to mention that the off white flower was sprayed using the Mocha Shimmerz Spray. It looks SO pretty IRL!!! Here is a closer look ~

Be fully in the fatal beam, an insecure young lamb sat in his heart, eyes in the depths of the luminosity embarrassing. I like it.
