I know I shouldn't whinge, but rendering is quite the most frustrating thing about producing a piece of CG video art, especially when something's not quite right and you have to set another twenty or so hours aside to do it again.
That said, it's usually worth it in the end, for that sense of completion. I always get a massive come-down at the end of some project or other though, and mope like a spaz for days until the next burst of frenetic energy that's going to consume every waking hour comes along, and it all starts again.
I'm rendering right now, to finish a piece of work, but I'm really planning another video to come eventually, if I can get it to work...
The Dalek Invasion of Skaro seems to have been quite wonderfully well-received, though the difficult thing always seems to be getting people to see it. Something like 55 shots in that one though, all rendered. Imagine how long *that* took...

Rendering is the most annoying part of ANY video project. Especially when, more often than not, you finish a long render only to realise that something is not quite right with a shot and you have to go through the whole thing again!
